We parked and got our luggage out, took the stairs to the 2nd floor, went in the room and, guess what? It was a KING room. She gave us our keys, and then said, oh, the elevator is out of order, you'll have to take the stairs. First she said she couldn't do it, then after I argued with her, she said ok, she wasn't supposed to but she would make an exception.
I replied that we had a confirmed reservation for specific room for a specific cost and they needed to at least honor the cost. We had a choice of either 2 queens or a suite, but the cost would be higher. On arrival, the desk clerk informed us that she had no king rooms available. We made our reservation online about 2 hours prior to our arrival.
